What we collect and why.

When you join Friends of Vic Falls Wildlife we collect your name, email address, country, and connection to Zimbabwe, so we can send you the field updates and event invitations you asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.

Who processes it.

The sign-up form is provided by Google Forms, and our emails are sent through Constant Contact. Both act as our data processors and may store data in the United States under the UK–US Data Bridge and standard contractual safeguards. We never sell your data or share it with anyone else for marketing.

Your rights.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office atico.org.uk.
